Disneyland Paris with a Toddler:
Complete Packing List (2026)
Updated April 2026 · 10 min read
Packing for Disneyland Paris with a toddler (ages 0–3) is a fine art. Pack too little and you'll spend a fortune buying essentials on-site. Pack too much and you'll be lugging a suitcase around the park all day. This list is what actually works — refined by families who've done it.
The stroller debate: lightweight vs full-size
This is the biggest gear decision you'll make. For a day trip or a 2-night stay, a lightweight travel stroller (like the Babyzen Yoyo or GB Pockit) is ideal — it folds in seconds, fits in the overhead bin on most airlines, and slides into any transfer vehicle boot without drama.
For stays of 3+ days, many families prefer their regular full-size stroller for comfort and storage. Disneyland Paris has stroller parking near every major attraction, and our Mercedes V-Class handles large strollers easily without needing to fold them.
A word on baby carriers: a soft carrier (Ergobaby, Lillebaby) is an excellent backup for moments when the stroller can't enter a queue or when your toddler just needs to be held. Pairs perfectly with a lightweight stroller — one for each parent if needed.
Nappies and wipes: the golden rule
The golden rule: bring more than you think you need for the journey, and buy extras locally. Nappies and wipes are widely available near Disneyland Paris (Carrefour in Val d'Europe is 5 minutes away and much cheaper than park shops). Don't overload your bag with a week's supply — buy a top-up on arrival.
- 🧷 At least 6–8 nappies for travel day + first park morning
- 🧻 2 full packs of wipes (travel-size for bag, full-size in hotel room)
- 🛍️ Nappy sacks — always underestimated
- 🧴 Nappy cream — the walking can cause unexpected nappy rash
- 🚽 Portable travel potty if your toddler is mid-training
Food and feeding
Disneyland Paris allows outside food. Use this. Toddler-specific snacks are expensive at the park and the queues at food stalls are not compatible with a hungry 18-month-old.
- 🍌 Familiar snacks from home: fruit pouches, rice cakes, breadsticks
- 🍼 Formula tins or pre-measured formula in a dispenser if still on formula
- 🥤 Sippy cup + spare (they will drop one)
- 🍽️ Small collapsible bowl and spoon for toddler meals
- 🥶 Small insulated bag for keeping milk or yoghurt pouches cool
Pro tip: Stop at a Monoprix or Carrefour the evening before your park day and stock up on toddler-friendly snacks, water, and fruit. You'll save 60–70% compared to buying inside the park — and your toddler will eat food they already know.
Clothes: the spare clothes system
A full change of clothes per child per park day — in the day bag, not the hotel room. This is non-negotiable. It rains suddenly in Paris, ice creams are large and melty, and splash zones are genuinely splashy.
- 👕 2 full outfit changes per toddler in your park bag
- 🧥 A light waterproof layer (packable rain jacket)
- 🧤 Warm layer if visiting October–March (parks are surprisingly cold at closing time)
- 👟 Comfortable walking shoes that are already broken in
- 🩴 Sandals with back-strap if warm weather (flip-flops are a nightmare with a toddler who wants to walk)
Medications and first aid
- 🩹 Plasters in various sizes — small feet + new shoes = blisters
- 💊 Children's paracetamol (Calpol sachets travel well) — the excitement and the heat can trigger temperatures
- 🤧 Children's antihistamine if your toddler has any allergies
- 👁️ Eye drops for tired/dusty eyes (long queues in direct sun)
- 🧴 Hand sanitiser — essential before every snack stop
Sun and weather protection
- 🌞 SPF 50+ kids' sun cream — apply before leaving hotel
- 🧢 Sun hat with chin strap (they won't keep a regular hat on)
- 🕶️ Kids' sunglasses if your toddler tolerates them
- 🌂 Compact umbrella or stroller rain cover
Comfort and entertainment for the journey
The transfer from CDG or Orly to Disneyland Paris is around 45 minutes. From Paris city centre, allow 35–50 minutes. That's enough time for a toddler to go from excited to bored to melting down.
- 🧸 Comfort toy or favourite stuffed animal
- 📱 Tablet pre-loaded with offline content (Peppa Pig never fails)
- 🎨 Sticker book — keeps hands busy without screens
- 🎵 Headphones sized for toddlers (not adult buds)

The transfer: what changes with a toddler on board
If you're flying into CDG or Orly, the transfer to Disneyland Paris is your toddler's first hour in France. Make it comfortable. The RER train from CDG involves stairs, crowds, pushchair folding at barriers, and 45 minutes of standing-room carriages. That's before you've even reached the park gates.
A private Mercedes van eliminates all of that. The stroller goes in the boot (no folding required), the baby seat is pre-fitted, and if your toddler falls asleep on the way, they stay asleep — and arrive at the hotel refreshed.
