Cheapest Way to Buy Disney Souvenirs
Near Disneyland Paris (2026)

Updated April 2026 · 8 min read

Buying Disney merchandise inside the parks is convenient — but expensive. A Mickey ears headband that costs €22 inside the park can often be found for €12–14 a 5-minute drive away. Here's where to find the best prices on Disney souvenirs near Disneyland Paris.

The Price Reality Inside the Parks

Disneyland Paris in-park merchandise carries a significant premium. You're paying for the atmosphere, the theming, and the convenience. Typical in-park prices in 2026:

Not outrageous for a holiday souvenir, but if you have three children who each want a toy, the costs add up very quickly.

World of Disney (Disney Village) — Same Merchandise, Same Price

Important clarification: World of Disney, the large store in Disney Village, sells the same merchandise at the same prices as the in-park shops. It is not cheaper. Its advantage is that it's accessible without a park ticket — good for late-evening shopping or if someone in your group isn't visiting the parks. But don't expect savings.

Val d'Europe Shopping Centre — 20–40% Cheaper

Val d'Europe is a large shopping centre 5 minutes from Disneyland Paris, accessible via a short walk from the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy RER A station (one stop further east, or a short taxi/shuttle ride). It houses a Disney Store — and Disney Store prices are noticeably lower than park prices for identical items.

Val d'Europe also has a large Carrefour hypermarket where you can stock up on snacks, water, nappies and sunscreen at normal French supermarket prices — much better than buying these inside the park.

💡 Strategy: Do your souvenir shopping at Val d'Europe on your last day, on the way to the station or to your transfer pickup point. You avoid carrying purchases around the park, and you benefit from the lower prices.

La Vallée Village (Outlet Shopping) — Designer at Discount

La Vallée Village is an upscale outlet shopping village also near Disneyland Paris, about 10 minutes by shuttle or taxi. It focuses on luxury and designer brands (Burberry, Longchamp, Lacoste, etc.) at discounted outlet prices.

There is no Disney Store at La Vallée Village. It's not the place for Disney character merchandise. However, if you're looking for quality clothing for yourself or older children, it's worth a visit. See our full comparison: Vallée Village vs Val d'Europe — which is better for families?

Carrefour and Supermarkets Near the Park

The Carrefour hypermarket at Val d'Europe stocks some Disney-licensed merchandise (puzzles, stationery, small toys) at supermarket prices — often 50% less than in-park equivalents. The selection is limited, but if you're buying practical Disney gifts (clothing packs, puzzle sets, costume dress-up pieces), this is by far the cheapest option.

Amazon France — Pre-Order Before You Arrive

If you know your children want specific items (a particular character, a specific plush), ordering from Amazon France before your trip and having items delivered to your hotel can save 40–60% compared to in-park prices. This requires planning ahead, but for popular items it's the single cheapest option.

What to Actually Buy Inside the Parks

Despite the premium, there are a few items genuinely worth buying inside the parks:
