Disney Village Disneyland Paris —
The Complete Family Guide (2026)

Updated April 2026 · 9 min read

Disney Village is the free-access entertainment district located right at the entrance of Disneyland Paris. You don't need a park ticket to visit — it's open to everyone, all year round. Think of it as your pre-show before the magic begins, or the perfect spot to wind down after a long day in the parks.

From American-style diners to a LEGO store, a cinema and even a bowling alley, Disney Village has something for every member of the family. Here's everything you need to know before your visit.

What Is Disney Village?

Disney Village is an outdoor shopping and entertainment complex that connects the two Disneyland Paris parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park) to the Disney Hotels. It stretches along a pedestrian promenade and is designed to feel like an American boardwalk, with themed facades, bright lights and Disney music playing throughout the day and evening.

Entry is completely free. You can browse the shops, eat at any of the restaurants, or catch a film at the Gaumont cinema — all without a park ticket. This makes Disney Village an excellent option if you're arriving the evening before your park visit, or if one family member isn't going into the parks.

Pro tip: Disney Village is the perfect spot on your arrival evening. After a long journey, skip the parks and have dinner here instead — the kids can browse the LEGO Store and World of Disney while you decompress. Save your park energy for the next day.

Restaurants at Disney Village

Disney Village has a wide selection of themed restaurants that cater to every taste and budget. Here are the main options:

Earl of Sandwich

A firm family favourite, Earl of Sandwich serves freshly made hot and cold sandwiches on artisan bread. Fast, affordable and genuinely tasty — ideal when the kids are hungry and you don't want to wait. Expect to spend around €8–12 per person.

Annette's Diner

Step back into 1950s America. Annette's Diner is a classic American restaurant with roller-skating waitresses, jukebox music and a menu of burgers, hot dogs, ribs and milkshakes. It's theatrical, fun for children and the food is solid. Budget around €25–35 per adult. Reservations recommended for evenings.

Planet Hollywood

The iconic Planet Hollywood restaurant at Disney Village is packed with movie memorabilia and serves a menu of American favourites — burgers, pasta, steaks and salads. The atmosphere is lively, portions are generous and children are always entertained by the film props on display. Prices are mid-range (€20–35 per person).

McDonald's

Yes, there's a McDonald's in Disney Village — and it's always busy. It has Disney theming and offers a familiar, quick option when travelling with picky eaters. Useful in a pinch.

Other dining options

Disney Village also has a Billy Bob's Country Western Saloon (Tex-Mex food and live country music), a Starbucks for your morning coffee, and several snack kiosks for ice cream, pretzels and popcorn.

Shopping at Disney Village

Disney Village offers some of the best Disney merchandise shopping outside the parks themselves — and you can shop here without a ticket, which is useful for picking up gifts on your last evening.

World of Disney

The largest Disney store at Disneyland Paris Resort, World of Disney stocks clothing, toys, plush characters, homeware, accessories and collectibles across two floors. It's the place to go for official Disney merchandise. Open until late most evenings.

LEGO Store

The LEGO Store in Disney Village is a highlight for children of all ages. It features interactive build stations, giant LEGO sculptures and an enormous range of sets — including exclusive Disney and Star Wars sets not always found elsewhere. Allow extra time: leaving children here quickly can take far longer than planned.

Other shops

You'll also find a Virgin Megastore (music, books, DVDs), a souvenir shop, a Disney fashion boutique and a sundry store selling essentials like sunscreen, batteries and umbrellas.

Entertainment and Activities

Gaumont Cinéma

The Gaumont multiplex at Disney Village shows the latest releases in both French and original version (VO). This is a great option on rainy days, for older children who need a break from the parks, or for parents who want a couple of hours of quiet while teenagers are nearby. Check listings at gaumont.fr.

Bowling

Disney Village has a bowling alley with multiple lanes, pool tables and arcade games. It's open from late morning until midnight and is popular with families in the early evening. Shoe hire is included. Recommended for children aged 6 and above.

Mini-Golf

An 18-hole crazy golf course sits within the Disney Village complex. Themed around classic Disney stories, it's ideal for families with younger children and provides a relaxed activity away from the crowds of the main parks.

Street entertainment

Disney Village regularly hosts street performers, character meet-and-greets and seasonal events throughout the year. During Halloween and Christmas seasons in particular, the village is decorated elaborately and hosts special entertainment.

Opening Hours

Disney Village is generally open from 10:00 to 00:00 (midnight), seven days a week, all year round. Individual venue hours vary — restaurants typically open from 11:30 or 12:00 and close around 23:00. The LEGO Store and World of Disney tend to close around 23:00–00:00 on busy evenings.

During peak periods (school holidays, Christmas, summer), Disney Village is open later and is busier. Arrive early evening to beat the dinner rush, or plan for a late meal after 21:00 when queues shorten.

Practical tip: Disney Village gets very busy between 19:00 and 21:00 as park guests exit and head to dinner. If you want a sit-down meal at Annette's Diner or Planet Hollywood, book in advance via the Disneyland Paris app or website to avoid long waits.

How to Get to Disney Village

Disney Village is located right at the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy RER A station — the same stop as the parks. It's impossible to miss: you exit the train and walk straight into the Disney Village promenade.

If you're coming by road, there is paid parking available at the Disneyland Paris car parks. Disney Village can also be reached on foot from all the Disney Hotels via covered walkways.

Arriving by Private Van from CDG or Orly

If you're flying into Paris, the most comfortable way to reach Disney Village — and the Disneyland Paris resort generally — is by private Mercedes van. Our service operates 24 hours a day from both Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly airports:

Travelling with a stroller, a car seat and three suitcases? No problem. A van designed for families means everyone fits comfortably — unlike a taxi or the RER.
